It is our pleasure to announce the 5th Annual Spartan Golf Tournament presented by our title sponsor, Chartway Credit Union. This tournament is a partnership between Norfolk State University’s Athletics Foundation and the Department of Athletics in support of student athletes that will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth, VA. The tournament will commence at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.  A continental breakfast starting at 8 a.m. will be provided along with lunch and an awards program.  

We are writing to ask about your sponsorship of this year’s golf tournament, a fun-filled fundraising event that supports student scholarships, program initiatives, and university priorities. Your sponsorship serves as an investment in athletic opportunities for current and future student-athletes.  

To ensure we meet every budget, we offer several sponsorship levels, including individual holes, beverage carts, raffle prizes, and monetary donations. We also encourage all sponsors to register a foursome for the event to take advantage of the networking and fellowship opportunities.  The tournament advertisement is attached for your convenience.
